Significant Others Track
The Significant Others Track has been a part of the JSConf US tradition since the very first event in 2009. This year we are doing things a little bit differently, so please make sure to read the following and register for each events.
As an attending Significant Other, you will be able to use the all week bike rentals free of charge. You are also welcome to join in the poolside and beachside activities and the evening campfires (with smores!).
For the following items, you will need a regsitered ticket in order to participate. While the vast majority of the cost of these events is covered for you by our wonderful sponsor, Condé Nast, we are requiring a small ticket price for each of the events you will be participating in.
If you are bringing children and need a little time away from them the Omni provides a wonderful child care program that is full of excitement and activity. Children between the ages of 4 - 12 can attend day time and/or evening events at Camp Amelia, details are here. If you are planning on utilizing the Camp Amelia, please ensure you register with the Omni at least 24-hour in advance. Call (904) 432-1451 for more information.

JSConf Meal Ticket - $65
This ticket entitles you to join the conference for the evening dinners and events on May 28th, May 29th, and May 31st. It also allows you to join on the brunch on June 1st. You must have one ticket per person in order to join in these events.

The River Cruise - 12:00PM - 5PM - $10
One of the most popular activities on Amelia Island, this two-hour cruise offers an extensive and rich history of Amelia and Cumberland Island, with views of wildlife seen along the way. From Fernandina’s shrimp boats, historic Old Towne and Ft. Clinch, to the wild horses of Cumberland Island and the ruins of the Carnegie Dungeoness Mansion and the Greyfield Inn, our historians will share the colorful stories that define the character of this unique part of the world. After the boat tour is over enjoy lunch with the group in downtown Fernandina compliments of our SO sponsor Condé Nast. Meet in Hacker Arcade (Amelia Foyer in Conference Center) at 12:00 PM to take the shuttle to downtown Fernandiana.

The Big Cats Tour - 1PM - 4PM - $10
Join us on a trip to the Catty Shack Ranch Wildlife Sanctuary whose mission is to provide a safe, loving, forever home for endangered big cats, and to educate the public about their plight in the wild and captivity. Their primary focus is in the rescue of cats from serious situations. Once an animal is taken in at Catty Shack Ranch, they have a loving, forever home for life. Our current residents include tigers, lions, cougars, leopards, bobcats, arctic foxes, and coatimundis (the last two are “honorary cats”). Meet in Hacker Arcade (Amelia Foyer) at 1:00 pm to take the shuttle to The Catty Shack Ranch.
